Sterling By Music Man

Sterling By Music Man

The Silo3, a versatile workhorse, that’s easy to play, comfortable and sounds like a higher end guitar.

An original, classic design that is familiar to all fans of great guitars, the AX3 traces its roots to the Music Man® Axis, the venerable single cutaway guitar that took the scene by storm in the early 90’s.High output pickups wired to a 5-way selector, asymmetrical neck, and either a vintage style tremolo (AX3 models) or a double locking tremolo (AX4 models) is available.

There can be no denying the impact that the StingRay® bass has had on bassists and music in general. The no-nonsense design, the tones from its 3-Band preamp and pickup, the ash body, the familiar oval pickguard has put the bottom end into some of the most important music of the last 40 years.

Utilizing our SBMM Double Locking Tremolo and lock nut, zebra DiMarzio AXIS Humbuckers, 3 position selector with single volume control, the AX40D is a pure rock guitar. The top is beautiful book-matched, quilted maple that is enhanced by a luxurious translucent finish with matching painted headstock.

From its “push-push” active boost on the Volume control, passive tone control, 5-way balanced switching, classic “V” contoured neck with 12” radius, and its Sterling By Music Man Vintage Tremolo set to Luke’s personal specifications for full step and a half bends, LK100D is a “players player” guitar!
