With its smaller footprint, narrower neck and light body, the VOX Mark V mini is easy to play, especially for those with smaller hands who find playing full sized necks frustrating and difficult.

Featuring a short scale that’s still plays like a regular guitar 

This new MARK V mini guitar features a 476 mm short-scale neck, but by stringing it with heavier-gauge strings, it can be tuned to standard tuning(E-A-D-G-B-E) unlike most other mini-guitars in the market. The nut is the same size as a regular guitar, but the 476 mm length is three-quarters the scale of a standard guitar. And yet, because of the clever design and the standard tuning, the MARK V mini guitar  can be played just like a standard guitar with no need to adapt your chord fingering. In fact, because of the shorter scale neck, your fingers can stretch further and play chords not possible on a standard neck-length guitar! 

Custom pegs for smooth tuning 

We’ve developed custom Tuning pegs with an adjusted gear ratio of 18:1 to match the short scale of this instrument. This makes tuning  the MARK V mini guitar as effortless as a full-scale guitar. 

Pickups that offer the classic VOX tone 

The MARK V mini guitar boasts two high quality single-coil pickups that give you the distinct sounds of the 1960s, along with a selector for choosing from a wide range of sounds. 

A body shape that’s brimming with a vintage feel and originality 

The Phantom body shape is possibly even more unique than the Teardrop shape - the iconic design, known for its edgy yet vintage looks, has been a favorite for countless artists and guitarists. The MARK V mini guitar is available in two standard body colors, white and black.
