PRS SE AE40E Angelus combines an easy-playing Angelus cutaway body shape with carefully selected tonewoods and an integrated pickup system. The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top along with ovangkol back and sides, delivering a balanced sound with clear articulation, good dynamics and a full-bodied tone.

The patented PRS Hybrid “X”/Classical Bracing design contributes to the guitar's responsiveness and projection, while the comfortable mahogany neck with a Wide Fat profile provides a stable playing feel for both chord work and fingerstyle playing. The ebony fingerboard is adorned with PRS's classic Birds inlays.

The guitar is equipped with a Fishman Presys VT system developed in collaboration with PRS. The volume and tone controls are discreetly mounted inside the soundhole for easy access without affecting the instrument's clean appearance.
