Its stripped-down configuration features a single bridge humbucker, a single master volume control and a highly responsive design focused on performance. Every detail serves a purpose, making the Ultra Max DJS an ideal tool for players who value simplicity, reliability and pure rock attitude.

The single-cut body combines mahogany with a Canadian maple top and a set-neck construction featuring a long mortise-and-tenon neck joint for enhanced sustain and resonance. A custom Danko Jones tapered neck profile provides excellent comfort and effortless access to the upper frets.

At the heart of the guitar is Hagstrom's custom-developed Mango Tone humbucker. Named after Danko's "Mango Kid" nickname, the pickup is based on a classic PAF design and features an AlNiCo 4 magnet and plain enamel wire. The result is a tone that delivers power, grit, clarity and impressive string separation.

Hagstrom's proprietary locking wrap-around bridge further improves sustain, attack and tuning stability, while the White Gloss finish and multi-ply pearloid binding create a distinctive stage-ready appearance.
