Equipped with a PRS DS-01 humbucker in the bridge position and a PRS Narrowfield pickup in the neck position, the Vela delivers a clear, articulate and powerful tone that performs equally well through a pedalboard or plugged straight into an amplifier. A coil-tap function on the tone control allows the DS-01 pickup to be split into single-coil mode, opening up an entirely new range of tonal possibilities.
The PRS Plate-Style bridge features two brass saddles specifically designed to provide long sustain and accurate intonation, ensuring that both rhythm and lead playing sound great in any musical situation.
